I haven't been keeping up with my blog the past couple of weeks. So much has happened in such a short amount of time. Here are some photos of two week old Emily:

During the first couple weeks we have very busy with Emily's routine, which includes sleeping, eating, going poopoo and peepee in her diaper, taking a bath, and crying. It's really exciting having a new member in the family. We have been home a lot more since it's so hard to pack the diaper bag and go out often, but have been getting out at least once a week to go shopping and eat dinner. It's a lot of fun watching Emily grow. She was born 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and she already gained about 3 pounds. She is starting to be more responsive to her surroundings. I read her a book and she loved looking at the pictures.

We took Emily out of Atlanta for the first time to Durham, NC. I have been a Duke basketball fan since I was five years old, so I couldn't pass up an opportunity to watch a game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. We met our friends Seth and Kelly. Kelly went to Duke and so did her parents. They are huge Duke fans and have season tickets. It was amazing being there at the game. I must have watched almost every game on TV since I can remember. I still wear my '1991 National Championship' shirt to sleep sometimes. Our first family vacation will definitely be very memorable.

Our first time out with a babysitter (other than family) watching Emily.
